Adult Dance

Dance provides adults with an invaluable tool for stress relief, creativity, exercise, and community.  It is also recognized by the medical community as an invaluable practice to help prevent dementia. Dance is truly one of the best thingʻs you can for body, mind & Spirit.

Ballet for teens and adults who have beginning ballet skills

and vocabulary under way.  This class will combine choreography and musicality with artistic expression.  This is a fun way to challenge yourself.


Tues 6:15-7:15pm


Latin dancing is fantastic for both the body and the mind. Characterized by rhythmical beats and Latin hip motion, students will learn the basics in multiple dances such as Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Samba, Merengue and more!


These classes will develop rhythm and timing as well as an overall strengthening and toning of the body. Not to mention, it's a great stress reliever! Classes are fun and easy to follow and no partner is necessary as Latin dances can be done with or without a partner. 


Friday 5:30-6:30pm


Ballroom Basics is a fun and easy way to learn all of the most popular partnered dances being done today! Students will learn the basic steps in several different dances and how the dances are interrelated.


Whether you want to enjoy a fun and romantic evening with your significant other or just want to learn a new skill, get great exercise, and have fun, this class is for you! Ballroom Basics is open to all levels and are offered in workshops or private lessons.


Mon 5:30-6:30pm

This class is for students who already have some training in ballet or contemporary dance.  This class will include floor work and techniques from Jose Limon, Merce Cunningham and more.


Thurs 8:00-8:45am


Core Rhythms is a fun, high energy, and low impact, dance fitness class. Before there was Zumba, there was Core Rhythms! The routine stays the same every week so that students may focus on using certain muscle groups to produce the movement rather than having to worry about keeping up with the steps.  Whether you are a dancer wanting to improve your range of hip motion or just want to get a great workout, have fun, and leave feeling energized and invigorated, this class is for you! Core Rhythms focuses on strengthening the core and improving ing balance.  

Open to all levels.


Tuesday 5:15-6:15pm


Swing is a fun and easy dance that is sure to have students getting a great workout and you will leave feeling amazing.  In this class, we will learn the basic steps and technique of East Coast Swing and some fun choreography (including West Coast Swing) that can lead to performance opportunities if interested.  No partner necessary.
