Healing Movement

Theses classes are creative and scientific practices that promote change.  These classes have a gentle inner approach to change, a way to self-regulate, listen and create, which leads to movement and rest.

This class is not a high intensity boot camp structure. 

The actual goals of a dance conditioning class is to educate students on proper movement quality and it’s importance, and getting students stronger to improve their work and recovery capacity. Help the build body awareness and balance patterns of overuse to prevent injuries.

Barre conditioning is a total body strengthening workout that focuses on form, alignment and injury prevention. Based on the basic movements done at the ballet barre in a dance class, this class will deliver high results. The workout flows through a series of exercises designed to elongate the muscles and improve strength and posture.

Great for all levels of fitness.

The GYROKINESIS® classes can be adapted to fit anyone's ability. People from all walks of life take GYROKINESIS ® classes, including accomplished athletes, fitness enthusiasts, senior citizens, and people recovering from an injury or dealing with a disability .

By the end of a GYROKINESIS® session, one's entire system is awakened and brought into greater balance. Focus on the breath stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, resulting in a sense of calm, well-being and mental clarity.




Wed 10:15-11:15

This is a gentle mindful movement class that encourages you to connect with how you do certain actions like flexion, extension, rotation and side-bending.  Each lesson starts out with small movements and gradually throughout the class you will build a global awareness of how to achieve an action efficiently and gracefully.  This internal study of how you attend to yourself will help you understand the balance and path of least resistance.

 Floor-barre is a challenging way to condition and strengthen through a specific ballet training.  It takes the basic ballet barre training from the standing position to the floor. 

Takes away any weight bearing strain and allows the student to strengthen both sides of the body simultaneously.

Warmup includes spinal mobilizers, hip mobilizers and a foot warmup, continues with activation exercises for core, turnout, deep inner thighs and intrinsic foot muscles and finishes

with stretching and release movements.
